Team Chat

Your Team, One Conversation Away

Stop juggling group texts, email threads, and Slack channels. OCTVE's built-in messaging gives your team DMs, artist group chats, file sharing, and @mentions, right where your work already lives.

Team chat and internal messaging

Direct Messages & Group Chats

Start 1:1 conversations with anyone on your team, or create group chats for broader collaboration. Group conversations are automatically created for each artist on your roster, so your entire team (managers, agents, tour managers, and day-of-show contacts) has a dedicated space to coordinate from day one.

Artist-Scoped Groups

Every artist on your roster automatically gets a group conversation with all relevant team members. When you add a new artist, a chat room is created instantly. No setup required. Your team can start coordinating immediately on routing, offers, advances, and show logistics.

@Mentions & Smart Notifications

Tag teammates with @mentions to cut through the noise. Mentions generate notifications in your Unified Inbox so nothing gets missed, even when you're not on the Messages page. DMs from teammates also surface in your notification bell when you haven't checked in recently.

File Sharing & Media

Share contracts, settlement sheets, rider PDFs, tour artwork, and any other files directly in conversation. Images preview inline, documents are one click to download. Everything stays in context alongside the discussion, so your team never has to dig through email attachments.

Real-Time Delivery

Messages appear instantly for everyone in the conversation. No refresh needed. A live unread badge on the sidebar keeps you aware of new messages across all your conversations. Typing indicators show when a teammate is composing a response, keeping the flow natural.

Role-Based Privacy

Your user picker respects your organization's structure. Admins and staff can reach anyone, while artist-role users only see their own management team and collaborators who share the same artist assignments. Internal communication stays organized and appropriately scoped.
