Octve does not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). We also do not use Google user data for advertising.
Your rights
California residents may request access, correction, deletion, or limit the use of sensitive personal information, and may request confirmation that we do not sell or share personal information. Submit requests to hello@octve.io. We will verify and respond as required by law (generally within 45 days).
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt‑out preference signal under the California Privacy Rights Act. Because we already do not sell or share personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising, we treat all visitors (with or without GPC) as opted out. If our practices ever change, the GPC signal will continue to opt you out automatically.
Opt‑out controls
Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising, no additional opt‑out is required to stop such activities. If practices change, we will update this page and provide a clear opt‑out mechanism.
Disclosures for business purposes (past 12 months)
In the past 12 months, Octve disclosed the following categories of personal information to service providers and contractors under contracts limiting their use to our instructions and prohibiting sale or sharing:
- Identifiers (account email, user ID)
- Commercial information (subscription status, billing history)
- Internet/network activity (logs, app actions)
- Professional or employment information (organization, role)
- Audio/visual content (files you upload to be processed)
- Inferences (usage patterns, AI-generated drafts based on your data)
Recipients are listed in our Privacy Policy Section 5 (Service providers and contractors). We did not sell or share personal information for cross‑context behavioral advertising in the past 12 months.
